Arno has been one of Volkswagen’ s top operators for most of the 2020s, having taken the CFO role in 2021 before taking on further responsibility as the group’ s COO the following year. He first began working at Volkswagen in 2004 and, notwithstanding a one-year stint as Audi’ s CFO, has been with the firm ever since. Before that, he held roles at McKinsey & Co. and earned a doctorate from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
