Denis’ academic background in politics led him straight into a career at Goldman Sachs, where he has now spent 30 years. He rose through bank loans, capital markets and investment banking, running the firm’ s global financing business before becoming its CFO in 2022. He now sits on the committees that oversee the bank’ s risk and balance sheet. He also serves on the board of Covenant House International, a charity tackling youth homelessness, and on the trustee board of Hospital for Special Surgery.
