Joe joined J & J in 1998 as a Finance Manager in the Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical organisation. Within two decades, he was running finance for the entire group. Perhaps his biggest achievement in the role was spinning off Johnson & Johnson’ s health arm, Kenvue, selling it for close to US $ 50bn to Kimberly-Clark last year. He is a firm believer in the importance of public health, saying:“ There has never been a more critical time to prioritise the health of families around the world.”
