Brian has served as SVP and CFO of Amazon since June 2015, after joining the company in April 2002. Before taking on his current position, he held the role of Vice President of Finance and CFO for the firm’ s global consumer business. Earlier still, he occupied financial leadership roles across Amazon’ s North America retail, merchant services and worldwide operations divisions between 2002 and 2010. As CFO, Brian has directed marketplace launches across 12 countries and guided the company’ s annual revenue growth from US $ 100bn in 2015 to US $ 716.9bn in 2025. Prior to his career at Amazon, he spent seven years at Fisher Scientific and eight years with BF Goodrich and Union Carbide in various operational and financial capacities. Brian earned an MBA in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State.
